CONCERNING
AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO. 89/KMK.04/2002 ON PROCEDURES FOR GRANTING IMPORT DUTY AND EXCISE EXEMPTIONS TO THE IMPORT OF GOODS IN THE INTERESTS OF INTERNATIONAL BODIES INCLUDING THEIR OFFICIALS ASSIGNED IN INDONESIA

THE MINISTER OF FINANCE,

Considering :

• a. that a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Government of Indonesia and the International Medical Corps (IMC) has already been signed;
• b. that an agreement between the Government of the Republic of Indonesia and the Center on Integrated Rural Development for Asia and the Pacific (CIRDAF) has already been signed to endorse the Sub Regional Office of CIRDAF in Southeast Asia (SOCSEA);
• c. that based on the recommendation from the State Secretariat the IMC and the SOCSEA can be declared as international organizations;
• d. that based on the considerations in letters a and b, it is necessary to stipulate a Decree of the Minister of Finance on Amendment to Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 89/KMK.04/2002 on Procedures for Granting Import Duty and Excise Exemptions to the Import of Goods in the Interest of International Bodies Including Their Officials Assigned in Indonesia;

In view of :

• 1. Law No. 10/1995 on Customs (Statute Book of 1995 No. 75, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3612);
• 2. Law No. 11/1995 on Excise (Statute Book of 1995 No. 76, Supplement to Statute Book No. 3613);
• 3. Presidential Decree No. 228/M/2001;
• 4. Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 89/KMK.04/2002 on Procedures for Granting Import Duty and Excise Exemptions to the Import of Goods in the Interests of International Bodies Including Their Officials Assigned in Indonesia;

DECIDES:

To stipulate :

DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE ON TO AMENDMENT TO DECREE OF THE MINISTER OF FINANCE NO. 89/ KMK.04/2002 ON PROCEDURES FOR GRANTING IMPORT DUTY AND EXCISE EXEMPTIONS TO THE IMPORT OF GOODS IN THE INTERESTS OF INTERNATIONAL BODIES INCLUDING THEIR OFFICIALS ASSIGNED IN INDONESIA.

Article 1

Attachment I, point VI, to Decree of the Minister of Finance No. 89/KMK.04/2002 shall be amended by inserting 2 (two) numbers, namely number 22 and number 23, to it so that point VI entirely reads as follows :

Article 2

This Decree of the Minister of Finance shall take effect as from the date of stipulation.

For public cognizance, this Decree of the Minister of Finance shall be publicized by placing it in the State Gazette of the Republic of Indonesia.
